Couponing is coming back to me. Sort of. I really don't have the $$ upfront to start buying newspapers. I don't have the time/organizational skills to do my binder and clip clip clip. However, I do have the time to check ads and make sure I'm getting good deals. And of course, printing coupons. I also hate with couponing how I'd get a bunch of stuff I didn't use/need and I'd feel guilty for spending money on those items, even if it was a small amount. I also have a list of things (in my head anyways) of things we need or will need soon...so I've been keeping my eyes open for deals. For instance, my kids don't have comforters for their beds. They just have random blankets... anyways, yesterday I found 2 down comforters (twin sized) for $9 a piece on clearance at target! WAHOO!! So...rather than driving anywhere today, i used the gas money to get those. It's a trade off, but I didn't HAVE to go anywhere today or tomorrow or Saturday. So no biggie! And, with winter coming, our kids need real blankets! :)
This payday is also the end of Svend's current rotation. Super crappy one! so I'm glad it's over tomorrow night!
And...super cheap datenight!! For when we *uh* get a date :) Actually we have a swapper now, so YAY!! But I got two movie tickets for $10 and a $10 chilis gift card for $5 WITH chips and queso.. SWEET! $15 for a date...we'll probably split them into two dates...so $15 for 2 dates! even better!!!
Residency: never easy...but WORTH IT! :)
