mean again,,,

what happened to the days of creative Halloween costumes? I remember being a punk rocker for several years and one year attempted to pull off "thing" from the adams family... weird, yes. Anyways, my kids have lots of dress ups...so this year and last year, we pulled out all of them and the kids get to choose what the will be. this works really well because the kids have SEVERAL Halloween activites so they actually wear a few different ones throughout the season. We were all set... until two days ago when Bergen decided he wanted to be batman. We do not have batman. Nor am I going to spend $10, $15, or $20 on a batman costume! He has cool dressups...bumblebee, GI Joe, Wolverene, etc. They all have masks too! So...he is a little frustrated in me right now. I'm not going to talk to him anymore about it until it's time to dress up for something and then we'll go back to his current box :) If I remember correctly we went through the same thing last year...and it turned out okay!
