Svend got home around 7, we did scriptures and prayer and sent the kids to bed at 7:30. He was gone at 7:45 for a church meeting...
Tally told me the reason she was in a bad mood was because the kids on the bus kept telling her she had cavities because she has 2 silver molars and a few fillings. Awesome. I'm glad she told me, but wish she'd told me about 6 hours earlier and maybe we could have avoided the PMS-like afternoon! I told her to just tell them that she's super tough because it hurt like crazy to get her teeth drilled and she didn't cry (well, she sort-of didn't cry ;) Or to tell them that's just the way Heavenly Father made her teeth (crappy..like mine... haha).
So, now I'm sore... Svend's gone...kids are in bed (not asleep)...and I need to get the motivation to get off this blog and do two loads of laundry, wash the dishes and pick up the living room... here we goooooooooooooo!!
Oh, but really quick. We introduced Tabitha to "Diego" HOLY COW! She is singing the songs and everything . Hilarious. Now...the issue is getting it turned off once someone hits the dreadful power button the TV. Yes, it's true, the TV did the entertaining today...I'm "THAT" mom...
OHHHHHHH!!! Speaking of "that" mom... Tally barfed a few nights ago. I went to get her sheets and bedding to wash them. when I opened the sheets, I folded them back up, brought them up from the basement, looked at Svend and said, " I know we're on a budget, I know sheets cost money, but I am NOT "That" MOM! I am throwing these in the garbage." He kidded me and I said, "well, if you want to be "that" dad, then go and wash these." He took out the trash for me :)
Now... to my "chores" :)
