The kids started karate today! They LOVED it!! we are taking it from a "poorer" area but that means 1/3 the price! and the intructors seem wonderful! They are both really excited to practice the skills they learned today and to go back again.
Svend is on a daddy daughter date with Tally. We decided a while ago that each of the kids really need alone time with us. So tonight our weekly dates begin :) I hope we can keep this going... although it can't be as financially taxing! (they went to dinner and movie) Bergen is next week and Tabitha the following. Then in August it's my turn to do one on one :) I'm excited. We're hoping we can just do things like the pool or parks or stuff like that. But tonight Tally was so excited. She got all ready and had me do her hair really cute. She was BEAMING when Svend came down and asked if she was ready yet. It was like she was on a REAL date. She was nervous and checking to make sure she looked just right :D Love that girl! I could tell Svend was excited too. usually he just gets stuck with her 'frustrating' side... so I'm sure he's glad he can just spend some quality time with her. (now...hopefully he doesn't get called in to work!)
