The kids had a blast with Daddy and their 4 cousins. Kids ages 10 and under--- 2 boys and 5 girls :) While we were there, my sister-in-law had a baby girl too! It was great and perfect timing. No stress on her part on where to send the kids! I was able to relax as the kids played and Hubby was near my side. Sweet's tantrums were still frequent but really funny.
We came home today. During a huge rain storm. I do not recommend this. We were so blessed and watched over. There were times when I would compare it to "white-out conditions." Because of the downpour and super speed windshield wipers, I got so car sick as well...not fun when you're driving. Contractions also began and lasted for the first 4 hours--even more NOT fun. The kids however were wonderful. By the time I was feeling better, they started to wig out, but it was okay. The last hour and a half was snow.... but way better than the rain :) Only added 30 minutes to our drive--amazing!
So, now we're home. I'm refreshed and in a relatively good mood. The kids on the other hand are cranky. BabyGirl misses her cousins and Daddy...and cried for the first hour we were home. Oh well :) Those are the "bonuses" for getting something spectacular I guess!
