it's in a book, it's reading rainbow." Remember that? I've read 3 books in 3 days with 2 more to go in the series. THIS is the true reason my home is a disaster :) However, getting lost in these fantasy worlds has been essential to my survival as a mom. Currently I'm reading the Overlander Series by Susanne Collins (Hunger Games). They are absolutely wonderful. Ever since Fable Haven, I've been obsessed with quick fantasies.
I talked to my mom today. My little brother heads home tomorrow for his 2 weeks of leave :) before his deployment to Afganistan :( Our ENTIRE family will be together. This hasn't happened since I was prego with Sweets and includes extended family (my mom's side). I love having everyone together. We are all so close as a family and I LOVE IT! I love my brothers! They are WONDERFUL!!!! And I love my SILs and everyone else. We always have a great time.
My little brother apparently will be fighting over a bed while I'm there...not over who gets the bed but over who doesn't get the bed :) I think he'll be on a cot for the next 6-9 months, so he needs a nice bed for 2 weeks. He thinks that since I'm prego, I should get the bed... but no. Hubby is delivering an air mattress for me tomorrow and if anything the kids will sleep on that and I'll be on the comfy couch. :)
Love my little brother. Love him so much. We have always been so close--had our moments these past few years---but we've always worked it out and been so close. The kids think he's Iron man and on "wolverine's team" since he's a Marine-hehe. Yesterday Bugs asked if he could carry the train we will be riding in to go to the zoo while we're visiting--haha. My kids think he is a super hero. I think so to. You'd have to be-to willing train for and then serve our country in a way that most don't think of doing. And...it's true, I've been calling him superman since he was a little boy in his baseball games :)
