Running with Tally is a lot of fun...if I allow it. Tonight I took her running with me at 7:30pm. She is crazy! she ran/skipped/swung arms like crazy and swirled around. She wore out easily :) But I think we still went about a mile. She is so funny. One of the best things I learned about her tonight is that she loves to run with the wind in her hair--against the wind. It was a lot of fun running with her. i'm trying to teach her to pace herself and not just sprint everywhere...but we ended up racing to certain places and then she would walk while I jogged backwards teasing her (baiting her).
Making my own pasta sounded good in theory... but I'm still not sure it was worth it. It was easy..took more time then I anticipated (30 min in total) and the while the cooking time said 2 minutes, I'm pretty sure they could have cooked for 10 because after 5min the were still "raw" in the middle... But, I made them with basil and the kids were begging for me! So...if I make them again, I have to double the batch!
Brooklyn needs mega attention...and pants on at all times. She screamed at me the ENTIRE time I was making pasta...and wouldn't go to Svend. She had to do everything Tabitha was doing which meant there was ENDLESS screaming going on between the two of them..especially since Tabitha was "helping" me roll out the pasta dough. And...she apparently took her entire nap in the nude. Thank goodness she didn't poop! Pee-covered sheets and baby was bad enough!
Bergen is ready for "mom" time. He is going running with me tomorrow night :) i'm excited to see how it goes. He kind of is ummm...lazy?
Svend is considering joining the airforce. While I HATE the thought and want to BARF just thinking of it... I feel as though we need to look into it... hang on while I BARF!!
Speaking of barf, we are totally going to have another baby. I don't know when...but I feel like I should prepare for pregnancy like I do for the birth. Once again, we'll have zero family help (if I happen to get pregnant this year) which SUCKS... but atleast Svend will be home... I feel like I should start cooking all our meat and chicken for when I'm too sick to do it... maybe...we'll see if I get that ambitious.
Tabitha is turning 3 next week. She is so excited. She wants everything pink and the only boys allowed at her party are Svend and Bergen :) We're going to my parent's time-share for her birthday...so I don't have to deal with a "friend" party and all that goes along with it. She'll love it...swimming and golfing... and I'll make her PINK cake :)
Registered to vote. Tally was very excited for me to get my "ticket to vote for a different president." She is praying for Obama to lose too :)
