it was soooo nice to have my vt-ers come to the playplace. They are super nice. I miss latching on to someone and invading their lives! haha. I need someone to latch on to me!! Today has been a lot better. socializing DEFINITELY helps!
This morning both kids missed the bus. I took Tally first since she has had the most tardies...I gave her a hard time since her bus comes 30 min after Bergen and she shouldn't have missed it... but then, I dropped her off and let her walk in (since she was only about 2 minutes late and the special needs kids were just heading in...). The teacher/parent/whatever looked at her and spoke to her then pointed to her watch. I remember getting chewed out by my teachers all the time for being late...I decided I wouldn't chew her out any more...since I'm sure she felt it from the school.
Bergen was 15 minutes late and the office was super nice to him.
Shopping at a new walmart (one I just discovered and is 2 miles closer than the previous one) was great. Seriously. BEST. WALMART. EXPERIENCE. EVER.
It's one of the cheap ones...so that's nice! And while the produce is lacking, it was CHEAP and they had what I needed. $50 out and $20 still in the bank to last til Thursday night... we're good :)
I also did WIC...the lady was super nice and said she was on it too... that helps!
Finished the book, Unbroken, last night. Horribly wonderful. So sad. I still think of the guy who had his dangling foot "played with" by the captors... horrible people. Horrible time. Louis Zampernini and ALL P.O.W.s are my new heroes.
I will be thinking about this book for a long time coming... it taught me a lot about faith, perseverance, keeping promises, and forgiveness.
