unexpected.

Svend's car is in the shop with a hefty price tag.  Bluh.
Svend's license hasn't been renewed yet. Bluh.  He couldn't renew until his board scores got back. His license expired on the 12. He got his board scores on the 10 and we overnighted the $400 and paperwork...but they now say it will take 2 weeks to get his license. Awesome.  So, tomorrow we are taking a "day trip" to Springfield to the actual office to get his license in person.  Mostly because the 3rd year above him refuses to let it go despite the fact that the residency director understands the problem and hasn't worried about it.
So, car in the shop $700.  Gas to go to and from Springfield $50-80.  3 hour drive each way. We're making it a family trip and checking out the "Land of Lincoln." Hoping everyone deals with the car ride... PRAYING everything works out with his license tomorrow so that this is not a pointless trip... and hoping his car is fixed by tomorrow night so he doesn't have to take the van to work.

Always something, right?


and Obama wants to cut our pay... I don't know about you, but I think we deserve the ability to MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS WE WANT after this is over!!!!! :)
