always a tender mercy.

Today's tender mercy reminded me once again that Heavenly Father is very mindful of me.  After my melt down to Svend and by myself, I pulled it together and we played up in the kid's rooms.  Brooklyn has been in a pack n play for the entire month we've lived here because we lost the screws to her bed. Sad.  We've been to home depot, ace, and the internet in search of screws that match. No such luck. On Tuesday I told Svend to just pack up the crib because it was taking up so much space in her room and just sitting there half built. He told me he'd figure it all out this week.  So today, we're in the kids' room playing and it is crowded! I fold up the pack n play and that helped. I went into my room and just said a prayer like this:
Heavenly Father, I know you know where the screws are. We've been to the stores and they don't have them. My daughter cannot sleep in a pack n play til she's two.  I have searched this house and don't know where else to look. I would really appreciate it if you would just show me where they are.

I keyed in on two suit-cases. I reached in the first pocket and no luck. I wen to the second suit case, unzipped the pocket, and there they were.

Instantly, on my knees. I know the Lord is mindful of me and my circumstance.  I love that He gives me reminders and teaching experiences.  While $400 isn't going to fall out of the sky in January, we'll have it by then.  It'll be okay.  I also was able to extend our cc payments out 3 more months since we moved. What a blessing.  Grateful for a mindful Father in Heaven.
