Tally often asks how "rich" we are. Are we millionaires, thousand-aires, etc. I told her one day we were "twenties." :) Anyway, she had the opportunity to shop with me at the Bishops store house this last week. We talked alot about being rich with blessings. We talked about how wonderful it is to be a member of our church and how the Lord takes care of us...so when friends ask her if she's rich, she should say "YES! We're rich with blessings!" She laughed and loved telling Svend just how rich we were when he got home.
Today I feel rich with money. The govt took out more taxes than usual... only $30 more but hey...that $30 bucks! Anyway, it wasn't until AFTER we'd done our 2 week budget that we noticed the difference. This 2 week period we have to pay off our $500 discover bill...yuck. My dad had given us $340 for Svend and Tally's ticket but we over spent last period and only had $275 left. So... I did our budget and we had.... $100 EXTRA! WHAT????
I've re-done our budget many many times... and it was the same. Granted we spent nearly all that last weekend on much needed toiletries, food, and pants for the kids. However, still have $25 in the bank (plus Svend has EXTRA in his account too!!!) and we are set. OH! ANd our gas tank is FULL Too! WHAT???
Yes, we are RICH!
