I love my husband! He went to TExas for a conference and it was WORTH IT!!!!!!

He met a guy from Sherman--definitely hiring in the next year...and perfect timing for svend. Told Svend to keep in touch and if he is still interested in 6 months they will start the interviews and paperwork!!!! AHHHHH!!!

Met a woman in Houston who said she's part of a group... it's in a rural area with NOTHING :)  and he asked if they had a peds podiatrist. She said no but that that is something they could definitely think about adding and noted that she hates working with kids :) YAY!

When he arrived at the mix and mingle a woman gave him a list of all the pods and what they were looking for and when. She then told him to e-mail her his CV and she will pass it on to everyone he is interested in interviewing with.

A 2nd year resident in Greenville said she'd hook him up with a contract lawyer :)

I'm SOOOOO excited!!!!!

The sherman guy--in a buttoned down shirt, jeans, and boots...has 4 kids and owns a ranch in oklahoma and loves hunting and spending time with his family :) :) :) he works with 2 hospitals and has 2 surgery centers and does about 60 consults a day... he would LOVE to share that load with an associate. He said he's a 9-5 kind of guy! And, we could live in a place like Anna (small, new town, CHEAP and good schools.)

If we went to Texas, we could get a NICE house for $150k (and probably newer too), live on about 70K (and have TONS of room..so we could even live on less if needed) and pay off our loans soooo fast! OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Svend said he is so glad he went down. he said it was worth it and he is sooo interested in these two jobs :)
