My goal is $400... mainly because we have LARGE things that we are selling...... we'll see...
I'm a mean mom. Bergen (5) sold some toys 3 years ago and we are STILL HEARING ABOUT IT. He never forgets. He found the box of things I am selling..he went through it all and pulled out all his stuff and tried to "rescue" his sister's things... grrr... I let him have back some of his stuff but not all the clothing and shoes that he has outgrown. He was very upset.
however, nothing prepared me for when I pulled the playhouse from the back yard to sell... sobbing. begging. pleading. Finally, I compromised and told him that if we have room, we'll buy a new one. We don't have room. I came inside and left him sitting on top of the house crying. Yes, I'm mean. Yes, he's upset. And yes, he's only 5. But he is a hoarder. No joke. The only thing he doesn't hoard is food. Seriously. If it was EVER in his possession, EVER, it is his forever. It's getting old and basically, I'm tired of the patience I've used up with him on this issue. Someday he'll forgive me.
