We found a place a while ago but it has been a mess. The management company has been weird and unable to get a hold of the owner. So grateful we got a realtor! She has been bugging them and finally googled the owner and called him herself. Long story short, he will rent to us but was furious with the management company and wants to switch so he wasn't returning their calls...wow...highschool again? haha!
He won't take our lowered rent offer...but we can do the higher one...especially if we sign a 2 year so he can't raise the rent on us :)
I e-mailed our land lord today to ask if we can use our deposit for our last month of rent... we'll see how that goes.
I bought a treadmill today. It's a manual one...yes, I use my own power and is a little bumpy...but it'll be nice in the winter when I can't go outside! and for all the days I'd like to go out by myself but Svend isn't here to stay with the kids :) I'm excited! And...it was $30. And it folds up and only takes up about a 2.5ftX1.5ft space. SWEET.
This morning was AWESOME! Brooklyn slept from 8:30-5:30 (I've decided this is her new bedtime!) ate a bottle and went back to sleep til 7am! So...I got to run a mile before Svend left at 6. What a great start to my day! Before the kids even woke up, I had unloaded and loaded the dishwasher, cleaned up the living room/entryway/shoes/coats. By 9am I had mowed the yard, pulled weeds, and had a water gun fight with Bergen. Got a shower and took the kids to the see the wiener mobil. Disappointed though because this time it wasn't opened! Darn. Got a sweet deal at Jewel-- 4, 2liters of Dr. Pepper for $6.50 and received a $5 catalina. Used that to buy jewel diapers that were $6.99. I love when they have things like that. Diapers we need...Dr. Pepper Svend wants :) Washed the car, read books to Tubbas, watched Super Why, played the wii, made pizza for dinner, headed to soccer... got out of the car and Bergen didn't have his cleats [insert adult tantrum!]... headed back home, got cleats, went to practice, SVEND SHOWED UP, played at the park, took Tally, Bergen, and Brooklyn home with me while Svend took Tabitha on a much needed date to McDonalds. WHEW!
Came home and watched TOUCH (NEW FAVORITE SHOW!) Svend brought sleeping Tabitha home and took the older kids to watch the lightning down at the park. Bedtime for big kids. GREAT DAY!!!
Up since 5:30 and only one blowup? Pretty good day today! Especially considering all the kid-sized tantrums and fits I heard today... :)
