3 years ago this March... I sat in a Dr's office and was told my son's head was deteriorating for causes unknown... tests beyond belief were begun... fasting and prayers, faith and optimism got us through this impossibly scary time.
2 years ago this March...my nephew was born with a heart defect... blessings, prayers, and family fasts...surgery on a newborn.
1 year ago this March...we didn't match for residency. Pretty sure anyone who reads this blog knows about all that ;)
Apparently, March is our month! It's a month of trial, but also one of faith. I'm so grateful that each of these things have now been resolved.
Bergen's head closed shortly before I became pregnant with Brooklyn and all is well!
My nephew is 2 and is great!
Svend has a residency!!!
Each of these times required trust in our FAther in Heaven that he knew what was best for our family. Each of these times required fasting and prayer.
What a sweet week it's been as I've been able to reflect on how the Lord has cradled our family in His hands and helped us through these rough and seemingly never ending trials. We have been blessed. I am oh so grateful for these experiences that taught us how to trust. Each have helped us grow spiritually and mature a little more. I'm especially grateful that I can look back on our "March Madness" and see that all has been resolved.
We have been so blessed.
