as fate would have it

Called last week to schedule a doctors appointment for a med check up today...over the weekend had a sore throat but nothing else. Figured it was allergies. bluh. Yesterday during RS I started getting chills so we took our sobbing kids home early from church. They REALLY like primary and were really mad at me. So fevers ALL day and night. yuck! 103 is NOT fun. I completely have sympathy for my children now when they get fevers. I GET why they are so cranky! Holy cow!!!

So, thankfully I already had the drs appointment scheduled... and since my 2 year old woke up and said her mouth was hurting and wouldn't eat, our dr went ahead and put her on a z-pack too :)

Also... Svend only had to work a half day today :) SOOO happy he will be her soon...before the big kids get home from school. What a huge blessing that does NOT happen often.

I have no clue where this illness came from...other than strep throat has been going through my kids' classrooms like crazy...so my own kids were probably carriers! I'm just hoping we didn't infect anyone at church yesterday!
