He then offered to help out with the kids any time...like to take Tally to the bus stop. His wife has offered before but I have never taken them up on it. She never spouts her ideas with me...this is about his 10th time...

no thanks...
my neighbor (who has 4 adult kids) just told me that we shouldn't have any more children because technology is taking away 30% of the jobs...so we need to stop right now because we are screwing up the economy. I smiled and said "I don't think that's exactly right" and bit my tongue on everything else. I love how everyone likes to tell us how many kids to have/not have. Maybe we should all have zero...then we can give our whole population over to robots of the future :)
