The Title of this post

I couldn't come up with a title to describe today... but here are a few ideas and why...

Failure- I let my kids get to me. They may be well behaved but it's only because they are scared to death of my yelling...

Scream 1- Tabitha's favorite thing to do is yell at me in the car. Fun. not. All she does is yell and scream like she's dying and doesn't stop until we get out of the car.

He gets dinner, I get a gas pump- Svend had a working dinner tonight. It started 2.5 hours ago and probably won't end for a while. Glad he's relaxing (or atleast having fun). My relaxation today came in the form or a gas pump. For that moment, I shut the door to the noise and chaos of 4 kids and felt the wind on my back. The drumming of the gas pumping into my car silenced everything around me and even helped with the sound of a tattling finger tapping on the window. It was a blessed 3 minutes. If only it'd been enough to completely wipe away my frustrations of the day.

Sorry your kids hate you- today at the grocery store I was stared at by quite a few people. Because I have 4 kids? Because I'm not wearing a wedding ring (that had to be cut off because of my last pregnancy)? Because I was actually letting my kids be baggers like they wanted? The only reason I can think of (other than their distaste for my goal to single handedly replinesh the earth with humans) is because their own kids hate them and they are jealous of my current happiness. Or maybe they are old maids? Who knows. But it put a major damper on my mood for the day and I let it set the tone for the day...bad idea! I did however remember to PRAISE my kids for the absolute EXCELLANT way they behaved in the store--all except the screamer of course.

You do for me, I do NOT for you- My kids have gotten into this rut of asking me to do everything for them and then either ignoring me when I ask for help or telling my they just aren't able to help. The excuses are getting old and so is my patience.

A better look on life- My kids are my joy. Tally has been learning a song for youth conference. It's so cute and she keeps calling her grandparents to sing it to them. Their are 3 kids and Tally'sone of them. :) She's really excited. Bergen is so sweet with the little girls. He tries so hard to please them. Tabitha loves Brooklyn now (when she's not trying to outscream her). Brooklyn is so sweet! love her smile and love that she sleeps through the night!!!! THANK YOU!!! Svend is working so hard! He loves his job and is doing so much for us!
