Vacation

Had a WONDERFUL VACATION for really a good deal. :)

The scary part:

we were in the indoor water park and Bugs totally took off. AHH! So, Hubby is searching and I'm scanning the place. About 5 minutes later he comes straight to me with a pout on his face. He tells me that he fell in the big water and a man pulled him out. WHAT?! Guess who was wearing his life jacket the ENTIRE REST OF THE TRIP?! YES! Even in 1inch deep water! Love my Bugs too much!

The wonderful part:

We stayed in a log cabin. AWESOME! The kids couldplay outside while Svend and I layed around. We were at the water park on Monday then Tuesday we did mini-golf and paddle boats. Bugs totally JUMPED off at the end when we got to the dock--before we were near enough. My reflexes worked amazingly and I was able to completely yank the kid back! What are we going to do with him?! Wednesday was checkout day and we went back to the water park. Bugs was way more adventurous and went down the BIG kiddie slides! Tally was insane! The only slide she didn't go do was the 4 story one that went straight down. She did everything Svend did and if she didn't it was only because she was an inch off the height requirement! Tabitha was nuts too :) She found 2 slides that she could not get enough of. She even fell backward down the stairs becuase she was running so fast to get on the slides (thankfully a dad was back there and caught her!).

The annoying part:

had to listen to a timeshare presentation. Did you know that if you don't get a timeshare you'll get a divorce?! TRUE! ugh.

And...we took the kids into the hottub at the timeshare resort... It was shaped in such a way that it had several "coves." We were in our own cove and the kids were in for a MAX of 5 min just to get warm after being in the FREEZING pool. Anyways, one lady had her son go tattle on us for having kids in the hot tub. Seriously?! say it to our faces! And then as we left, I passed an old man (who Svend said had been drinking BEER ) who was staring at the rules. He looked at me and said "did you read the rules?" I smiled and replied "nope!" and left. NO KIDS UNDER 12! no exceptions! Wow, bet he didn't tell the other mom that who obviously had an 8 and 10 year old! oh well.

We won't be purchasing a timeshare anytime soon. People are old and snippy...and I think we're safe on not getting a divorce :)
