It started out rough-INEFFICIENT WIC Office... took an HOUR for us to be seen but only a 20min appointment? wow! YUCK.
Then we met some friends at the park. He would have rather been golfing, but I'm so glad he came with us. It was wonderful and I know the kids enjoyed having him around too.
Then, home for naps. i crashed too and he took the older kids on a few errands.
Last, a friend invited us to the community aquatic center. She had some extra guest passes... so FREE! AWESOME! We stayed for 3.5 hours and had a blast. Bergen finally agreed to go down the big slide with me and ended up loving it and BEGGING for more turns! :) Tally loved all the slides of course and it got to the point where we could just let her go a certain number of times and she'd check in every few rides. Tabitha loved jumping into the pool and playing in the sand. Stinker loves to jump AWAY from whoever's trying to catch her. We all enjoyed it and it was wonderful to be there as an entire family!
Afterwards we took the kids to dinner and bought out stake n shake :P it was great and deserved by all.
A few funny things...
Bergen loves 911. He thinks everything's an emergency! It's a good thing he doesn't know how to unlock my phone.
-mom, I need to call 911! why? because the policeman took away your pool pass!
-mom, I need to call 911! why? because the basement flooded (2.5 months ago...)
Trying to teach him what a real emergency is...but hoping we never have one!
Brooklyn is smiling like crazy! her whole face squishes so her mouth can open as wide as possible for the smiley's. It's sooo cute. We love her
Tabitha finally started calling her Brooky insteady of baby...i guess she's a part of our family now :)
Tally has been making my bed everyday. Which is awesome and sweet but really annoying when Brooklyn is asleep on it and she moves her around to accomplish her task! She's also started making her own oatmeal in the morning and taking showers right when she wakes up-finally.
Stress free...why? because I just realized that our 1st pay check will be just a few hundred less than what we've been living off of each month...and we get paid bi-monthly! THAT's AWESOME!
