long time

I should blog...

my parents left 2 weeks ago. We had a good time with them...stressful at times since I get that way, but overall, wonderful and I'm sad they aren't around. They watched the kids sooo much and filled up my car with gas...and I didn't do dishes for a month!

I'm 20 weeks along. whew. Glad we're half way done...and still only around 10lbs gained...but I have to admit I feel very large. I am hoping this little boy likes to eat and sucks the fat off me like Bergen did...  Svend knows I don't feel very good about myself and yesterday I told him I was going to get my haircut (he had the day off and my head is free of all that nasty stuff) and he INSISTED that I ignore the bank account and get my hair highlighted too.  $75. I love him so much.  He knows I needed a desperate boost and I feel so badly for him that I don't take his compliments to heart. I know what I see when I look in the mirror and I assume he sees the same...but he doesn't and I love him for it and need to be more trusting of his opinions and not compare my self to all the other hip, skinny, prego's out there!

we are trying to stay at our home and offered to pay 1330 instead of the 1370 they want to raise it to. We are praying like CRAZY and hoping we stay. I'm not sure if Svend is TOTALLY on board with this idea, but seriously, it'll be best... even if they raise our rent, it may be cheaper to stay... which SUCKS to admit, but we need to stay.

Tabitha got into the highrisk preschool...it's free and has 4 SPECIALIZED teachers. Next year, she'll have Bergen's kindergarten teacher... which makes me want to stay even more. CJ put it best "Tally and Bergen will be fine switching schools and going to any school but Tabitha is your wild card." So true!

Svend starts his 3 rd year in just a few months! WAHOO! He just did his call schedule. FINALLY he had a choice of when to be on call!

Over all things are good. Money is tight, but we do have a savings account and we'll be fine. We have $66 in the bank for the next 7 days and 1/4 tank of gas (that INCLUDES my $75 hair!).  I also just went shopping at a cheap grocery store with tons of GREAT cheap produce... so $66 to get us through 7 days when all I will really have to buy is some chicken and bread? we're good...we always are!

speaking of money. The other night I had to buy just household goods. Gag. It cost me around $75.  Diapers, cleaning spray, TP, dish detergent, etc.. bluh. But we're set for  few weeks.

oh, last, we took brook out of a crib and she FINALLY started taking naps again! whew.
