So... yesterday, I had the girls in my shopping cart and Bergen pushing another one behind me (he only snagged my heel once...). Tabitha was screaming because I let her out at one point and she was being a stinker so I put her back. I kept calm. I did threaten her a few times....but for the most part, kept my cool...even though her scream was like a fire alarm.
When we were done and paid for, I was leaving and this woman came over to me. I'd passed her in the store at some point and wondered what she might tell me...maybe the typical "I was in your shoes (forget the fact that my kids are 10- years apart) once" or maybe "boy you have your hands full!" I really wasn't wanting any of those...I smiled and said "yes?" She then replied, "you did such a wonderful job with your kids. I am really impressed." ***insert "gasp" here. THANK YOU.
