Svend had to replace 4 tires in 2 weeks due to potholes. Ugh. So $600. We got out tax return. 3700is in savings after the initial 5900. Pretty good I guess. Still have his garnished wage pay check at 1377 instate ad of 1645. Someday...
I got a job babysitting. Paid for one tire:) we also paid off our discover card which was $1500 with our tax return. Glad that's over. We currently have 200 in the bank (checking) and I don't think I need to buy anything. Payday is Friday.
I'll get another 150 next week and then it'll be around $50-60 a week for 2 days of babysitting. We decided we'll just cash the checks so we have cash on hand. I'm grateful for my little job to help supplement and I am grateful I swallowed my preside and we are shopping at the bishops storehouse again. We will continue until our pay gets fixed. Right now we are making bills but not food. We have our tax return but it is what's moving us to texas...so we can't use it for day to day messes irises I I am so grateful for the church.
Today svend and I had a fight. Over a toy helicopter that was his but broke so Bergen wanted it rather than it being thrown away. I thought he should have it but Svend was dead against it since it was "garbage". We yelled... We didn't talk for a while. Not like silent treatment,w e were just both frustrated with each other...and Bergen.
Tonight I told him he needs to remember what it was like to be 7. We both do. Here was this awesome toy that Bergen was never allowed to touch and now that it's broken, he was so excited to get to play with it but it was still off limits. Ugh. Anyway, he shrugged it off but hopefully he can remember what it's like to be a kid and we can both have a little more compassion on our kids. It also frustrated me be we don't have a lot of money and the kids want so many things they can't have. It was in his grasp. He doesn't care about it not being able to fly any more. It was something that looked cool and would be fun to hold. I wonder if Svend threw out the garbage...heck...
Trying to decide on homes.,,and prices. It costs 2500 to move! Bluh.
Just a frustrating time right now. Trying to be positive and happy. Trying to be more compassionate with my kids. I haven't yelled in a while. But did do a guilt trip about cleaning today. Oops.
Anyway, title was preparing a way...bc it sucks that tires popped but I have a little income and the bishops storehouse...so The Lord made it okay even thought things came up. He gives us a way to lighten the burden of our trials.
