I am REALLy late on your birthday letter, Bergen. Sorry!
You just turn 7 last month. Right now you are decided whether or not you will be baptized. It's a tough decision but I know you will make the right choice. Remember the night that dad's car broke down? I cried and said we just didn't have the money to fix it b/c we needed it to go to Texas for Christmas. We prayed that dad's car would start. And it did! I asked you who answered that prayer…you said Heavenly Father and you KNEW he answered it. We still had to get dad's car fixed the next week. That was hard using all our money to do that. But then, the Bishop came over with some money for us to go to Texas! Heavenly Father told the Bishop we could use the help. The Bishop listened, and we were blessed! Always remember that, Bergen. Heavenly Father DOES hear our prayers. He loves us so much. When things are hard, he will find a way to help us make it through.
When school is hard, he will help you. When friends are being mean, he will help you. I hope you decide to be baptized next year but I know you'll make the right decision after you pray about it.
You are such a wonderful boy. You hate wearing ties to church (we fight over that every Sunday!), you love lego movies and you just bought a ninja turtle wii game with your birthday money. You are such a great reader now! your little brother loves you so much.
The other day you were Tabitha's "coach" and you two were having blast play fighting and training. You play hockey and just started level 3. Some day, if you want to continue it, you'll be a great hockey player! There are lots of sports to check out too. I know you're excited to try new things.
you are super smart and always give us fun facts that you remembered from school. one of my favorite stories of you is when you were 4 and Tabitha was 2. Another 2 year old was talking to her and you walked over and said to him "you'd better be nice to my sister!" you have always looked out for your sisters and I know they are lucky to have you as a brother. I sure do love you, Bergen! Love,
Mom
