Bergen's bike chain keeps falling off. he needs a new bike. Tally could use a bigger one but Bergen's is more immediate.
Tally doesn't have a swim suit that fits her...she HAS to wear a swim top over her current one.
My flip flops broke. Svend was happy...but I could use some... and some bigger swim bottoms...
Tally has one pair of shorts that she is actually allowed out of the house in.
Brooklyn needs a bigger swim diaper...
Heading to the beach on Saturday...the kids need some buckets and shovels.
I wish all the girls had tankinis. So much easier for the bathroom.
We have ZERO extra money... we have 2000 in savings and owe $600 on discover... We have $80 to last 7 days and need fruit and a restock of a lot of staples (butter, bread, Nutella-haha).
Svend's parents are coming to town on the 3rd of July. I'm glad...but am trying to not be excited about prospects of getting the kids what they need... Svend and I need to be the ones to purchase what they need, we just can't. That'll change over the next few years, but right now it's hard. Svend starts his pay raise in 2 paychecks.
The bike thing is really a need. My kids LIVE on their bikes. Seriously. I just hope we can find one cheap enough...
Svend works so hard and I hate telling him how much is in the bank 2 days after payday... I pay all our bills immediatly...so even though we get $1500...we end up for $200. Well, less because I pay our bills and go to the grocery store...because our fridge is usually completely bare by pay day.
I never want my kids to go without. I know they think I'm a nazi about the food but I make them eat a variety because we can't only have so much fresh stuff each day... I make everyone drink a glass of water before eating most of the time...which is actually good, I'm doing it too. It's just hard. I try to make sure I buy only things we really like so there is no wasting. I HAVE gotten better about getting upset if they waste food. I don't really anymore.
I'm trying to chill out on the house as well... that's working...okay.
I just do not like when the door is left open (bugs come in and Brooklyn escapes!) and when mud is tracked in...
Today we were all outside and I was dying of heat so I grabbed the kids and we went to the splash park. Tally asked if her 2 friends could come. They PROMISED to help with the little girls. I said no. I told her I already had 4 kids and was NOT going to take 6. She was VERY upset and cried and glared. I told her that was fine and she could sit in timeout when we got there. I told her when she has 4 kids, she can bring all their friends and see how it is. Still glares... I told her that her friends were welcome to join us if their mom wanted to meet us there. glares. Anyway, after her timeout she says to me "you're about to have 5 kids, I think you could handle 6!" Stinker!!!! She also told me later that she is only going to have 1 or 2 kids. We'll see. haha.
June is nearly over and I'm glad... if she thinks we do nothing now, just wait til Anders comes...and we stay inside for about 4 months!
