Svend had an interview last week in.....TEXAS! Oh I am beyond thrilled! My dreams are becoming reality :) He was offered the job and after talking it over, fasting, and praying, we said YES! We don't have a contract...so no official salary but it sounded as though it would be between 100k and 135K STARTING Out!!! And could increase over the years. He does it by a percentage. So if Svend brings in more patients, the money goes up :) :) :) We are trying to be cautiously optimistic about the whole thing. We want this so badly and have starting looking at houses :) But we are keeping it on the down low. The only ones who know are my family and we've asked them not to say anything until we have a REAL contract. We don't need word getting out and then it falling through... Not to mention the rift it is going to cause in our relationship with svend's parents. But you know what, this is a GREAT offer in a CHEAP place and we couldn't ask for a better boss and area. It's in Sherman, which is a "small" town about 45min north of my parents. It's still a lot country. We could live there or in Anna, which is where John and Diane live...about 15 minutes from the practice and 20 min from my parents--and the ice rink for the kids.
We are praying we get a REAL CONTRACT and it all looks and sounds good :)
We prayed on Sunday and I told Tally to say "help us to know if we should take the job in Texas." She said that and then added "and I hope we do." :)
