There's me...the mom... and then there's Tally, Bergen, Tabitha, and yes...even Brooklyn.
THIS IS GETTING ANNOYING!!! Everyone has to be the mom!
I give an order... and they enforce the orders. They don't actually obey them, just enforce them. 5 kids under 8.5 years... crazy.
Speaking of #5... Bergen is scared the baby is dead. Why? because the little girls climb on my stomach a lot. I hate being pregnant when you can't count kicks yet... I'm excited to hear the baby's heart beat in a week. Bergen was in tears asking what if we couldn't hear it... his soft heart has be worried...but I know the baby is fine...I hope :)
Tabitha is officially done with preschool for the year. She lasted a month. I had to tell the girl I've been carpooling with. I'm glad she didn't yell at me via text... she works and so now her daughter wouldn't have a ride home so she has to drop out too. oops...but she signed her up before we decided to carpool so I shouldn't have worried about it. She knew the consequences.
Anyway, putting Tabitha in gymnastics. My mom and laughed and said it'd be perfect for her-an individual sport! not really a team player, that one. Today I had the opportunity to read her baby blessing. Oh my sweet Tabitha. So much in store for her if she obeys the gospel and sticks close to the standards. Such a strong willed child...just need to channel it for good! It's so funny because she does not like Brooklyn, but then if Brooklyn is really truly acting like a baby, Tabitha just eats it up and treats her like a new born... I think she'll be okay with the new baby. The only problem is she will be fighting brooklyn for turns holding it. I started tearing up though when I read her baby blessing... she is a special spirit, meant to be in our home. To teach us patience and love and kindness... because if we don't use those on her...we're screwed! ;)
Love my kids. Just need reminders some times of why oh WHY we are all in this family together. We butt heads a lot, we yell a lot, but I think we have a lot of fun...and we're ALL learning together. I'm grateful my children are so forgiving of my faults...because they are many.
