S.L.O.W. as Molasses

That describes BabyGirl today. She's off at school but barely. She was sick ALL weekend but fever finally broke yesterday around noon so she was gone today.

*she woke up @ 9:45AM!
*then...I told her we had to leave @ 10:30 to get to the store (BIG blizzard coming tomorrow and we needed to stock up on some things) before picking Bugs up from preschool.
*she desperately needed a bath so I told her she could take a QUICK ONE.... 20 minutes later I finally yelled enough to get her out.
*10:30 she decides to start looking for shoes to wear...only can find one... we NEED TO LEAVE!
*10:45 I make her choose new ones and throw her in the car--oh wait! She's HUNGRY!!! I grab the bag of cherrios and hand it to her.
*get to the store--which needs stocking-- and get out by 11:10 -whew!
*home from picking Bugs up at 11:50 leaving 40 minutes to each lunch.
*she insists on making her own sandwhich-AHHHH!!!
*12:10 she's GABBING AWAY and chewing inbetween chats.
*12:15 first bell goes off telling her it's time to pick up the pace and get things going--10 minutes left til bus
*12:25 second bell rings--leaving enough time to put shoes on and get out. She is all ready to go... teeth brushed, coat on, shoes on, hat and scarf on... but she won't stop fiddling with her gloves!!!! STOP! SERIOUSLY??!!?!?!??!?!?
* 12:28 bus will be here any second and she's still INSIDE the house! I shew her out and she takes a wierd way to get to the bus and guess what?????
*12:30 MISSES THE BUS!
*now we RUN 2 blocks in the FREEZING COLD. Sweets is SCREAMING as we try to catch the bus on it's flip around the circle.
*12:35 we make it...the bus comes and picks her up....
NOW maybe she'll understand why I kept saying HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love BabyGIrl and I know she's still recovering from her sickness. She was intent on going to school today. I would've kept her home to give her another recovery day...but she was did NOT want to stay home. I love her so much and I'm so glad she's feeling so much better. I just hope tomorrow we can pick up the pace a bit :)
