you know what is awkward? stopping by svend's work and having to talk to him in front of his assistant b/c he doesn't sit in his office. granted he doesn't have patients…but still! come on! anyway, I need to say "hey, when I come in, can you just go to your office so we can chat there? I hate being like the annoying girlfriend or whatever" but he will be offended…or get angry like he did when I brought up that he shouldn't be going to lunch with his assistant, ever.
