So our "promotion" ended for our internet…. moving our fee of $25 to $48. Typically I call and they give me the newest promotion and sometimes even lower our bill. They wouldn't this time. we have 2 more months in Illinois…so I canceled our internet. Svend has a wifi hotspot on his phone…so when he's home, we'll have some sort of access… but 2 months! AHH!!
i ran 2 miles today. I walked 0.1 of it… and finished in 22 min. I feel pretty awesome right now. :) Tomorrow I'm just doing 1/2 a mile to stretch out then some workouts at home…svend has to leave at 6am…so I am not waking up at 5. Next wednesday my goal is 2.5 miles… then the following week 3 miles… we'll see how it goes. I took svend's phone with me that tells me the milage and time. It also said I burned 296 calories. Yes…must. run. forever.
Anders was sick…then brook… now I think Tally is getting it…though she won't admit it. She loves school too much. She tried out for the talent show at school today singing twinkle twinkle little star in a chipmunk voice. love her.
things are going pretty well here. we have been financially stretched to our limits. just pad $730 for Svend's DEA number so he can write prescriptions. yes…not cheap to become a doctor… better be worth it!! ;)
watched kid history on youtube tonight as a family. hilarious. going to have to watch more tomorrow before the internet is gone on friday! :)
getting family pictures done on saturday. celebrated 11 years last week and svend set up family pics for us. tried taking every to kohl's to get coordinating clothes but i took to long and the kids were crazy and we left…of course later noticed brook's fever…that may have had something to do with all the freak outs! I let home and went to target and got everyone clothes :) can't wait til saturday. hopefully the weather is good (it's been raining) and ground is dry and the kids are good! excited :)
we ate at joy yees. It was great! it was this large room with lots of tables and packed with people. the waiters just stood against the walls staring at everyone waiting for any opportunity to help, clear a table, whatever. We had anders (not really a place for a highchair) and I was concerned about it b/c it's like a sweat shop and so many people in such a tight space! :) the waitress kept coming over and bringing Ander's various things--fork with watermelon, fortune cookie in a wrapper, drink with a straw, etc. it was pretty funny just how great they were and nice :) totally a family place that I wouldn't take a family to b/c it was so crowded! :)
