we made it!

To another pay check! WAHOO!!

SO, yesterday I worked out our entire 2 week budget with bills...and we had $176 left for food/extras. Not too bad... kind of sucky...but that's because I took out $70 we still owe on discover, and another $50 to pay off 1/2 our insurance.  So we decided to just pay off the discover and pay the whole $100 in inurance when it's due...after the next pay check. Whew. That helps.

Our fridge and freezer were EMPTY.  I dug until I found enough$$ for Tally to just buy her lunch. Sad , since it only costs 0.40!  But we were $5 in the hole...so I found $6 in the car. sweet!  I then price matched all my produce at walmart and planned our weeks worth of meals appropriately. So, with all the produce (A TON BTW) and 3 loves of bread, buns, ranch, bbq sauce, cheese, eggs, and a few needed spices/canned goods, I spent $86. usually I spend about $65 on JUST PRODUCE. SOOOO A FAN OF PRICE MATCHING!  We still have to restock our chicken and ground turkey/beef supply but once we do that, it's good for about 3 weeks or so... so not worried about our grocery budget right now. SUCH a good feeling!

I gave away a few of the stocking stuffers and the cute wood/magnet dolls.... I just really felt like my kids were so blessed that it would be okay to not give those gifts... and wouldn't you know it? Today I got some random $$ from sears and also found the SAME deal for the gifts...so I am going to back and grab one... :)

My parents are flying Svend and Talia down to texas in January. There's a conference and a chance for Svend to get to meet a few key doctors that could help him get a job down there. SO super nice of my parents. $300.

So the $200 gift card got spent. We only spent about $20 on needed things to get us through last week...then we let the kids choose whatever. Tally was so thrilled to FINALLY be able to get her GOGO Furreal dog. She has tried saving up for the thing...but $54 is SUCH a big amount... Bergen got a Hulk and a spider man string shooter. TAbitha got a horse (which she has NOT stopped asking for...) and I finally just grabbed Brooklyn a dora doll and purse/makeup set. I say finally because she was filling up the shopping cart! haha.

Svend then used the rest yesterday to get my christmas present...I asked for a yoga mat...for my p90x.

p90X...taking the week off and walking on my uphill manual treadmill instead. Super hard and sweaty workout!  I'll begin week 6 on monday again...and probably keep up the walking....

We are serious about having another baby now.  We'll see.  Svend said his co-workers think he is irresponsible to have so many kids. I feel like these last few blessings have shown us that the Lord will take care of us in our needs and help us curb our wants and desires.  I feel truly blessed and I've known we would have another one...and I'm not getting any younger!
